It is that time of year again and this year we are celebrating 30 years of The Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival with a fabulous line up of experiences for you to enjoy from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th of May. From exhibitions and activities, to performances and stuff for the kids, there is bound to be something that tickles your fancy and draws you to our town.
With the school holidays and Easter upon us, we all scramble to find activities to keep little busy-bodies active, without sparing some fun for the adults too. We have compiled a list of things to do and places to see that the Coonawarra region has to offer. Whether it’s long lunches and wonderful wines or something with a bit of history, there are activities to suit each and every personality.
If you know our team well enough, you’ll be aware that there is a special place in our hearts saved solely for the beautiful Coonawarra wine region (there isn’t a drop of red that we haven’t tasted!). So, you can only imagine how excited we are about supporting and promoting October’s Cabernet Month Calendar for our local community.
We’ve got a soft spot for interiors. Yes, the love is real, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. While the last two years have dimmed the sparkle a little, (with most of us seeing more of our own four walls than we would like), we can’t seem to get enough of these 2021 #interiortrends which have left us weak at the knees.
We have gone crazy for our range ofbeautiful resin pieces(mostly in shades of pink, an obvious choice). While we all know a thing or two about this delightful material, there are plenty of Moss and Wild customers eager to know more.
What a week of celebrations it has been! We are filled with happiness looking back on our first year of café trade to see the dream we have brought to life. We set out with a goal to create a relaxing place for locals to share with family and friends, unique from anything else in the area, surrounded by stunning art and gorgeous homewares. And here we are.
To some passing through, Penola may appear to be just the small (yet gorgeous) regional town it is. But what visitors might not see at first glimpse is what makes us unique. Our incredible culture – our community’s ongoing celebration of art, music, country, local produce, and of course… wine.
Need a hand to find the perfect winter wardrobe staples? Remember it’s all in the detail, and we have got just the pieces for you. Let us help take you from WFH to weeknight wines.
